Nova’s continuum of care is specifically designed for the highest possible outcomes for long-term sobriety. Our admissions team can help clients to individualize their continuum care needs. Through our continuum of care services, we can compile a 15-month program that will start with our residential drug and alcohol treatment center and end with helping the client transition into life on their own in society, sober.

Our individualized continuum of care plan for each client can include residential inpatient treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, aftercare, sober living, and/or personal monitoring. We’re able to design a full continuum of care at all of our locations by hand-picking each tool to meet the client’s specific needs. This individualization ensures that individuals have continued support to achieve long-term recovery, no matter which location they choose.

Affordable 15-Month Treatment Program

Residential Treatment — 3 months

Residential treatment is the first phase of overcoming alcohol and drug addiction. During this time clients progress through a curriculum consisting of the 12-step program and several other treatment approaches designed to meet the needs of addiction recovery. This long-term inpatient treatment program provides adequate time for clients to work through the underlying issues behind their addiction and gain the skills they need to live a drug and alcohol-free life. It also provides a safe, supportive place for them to remain sober for an extended period of time.

Sober Living — 9 months

Throughout the sober living portion of treatment, the client will live in a structured sober living home located in Austin, TX, Houston, TX, or Colorado Springs, CO. These nine months are essential to maintaining ongoing recovery while providing the accountability and support that many people need to succeed. Clients will live alongside other individuals in recovery and will have the opportunity to share experiences, encourage one another, and pursue a more healthy lifestyle together.

Intensive Outpatient Care — 2 months

This next phase of recovery aids in the transition from structured sober living to independent sober living. Outpatient care also makes it possible for the client to maintain other ongoing obligations, such as work. Throughout the course of this program, clients meet three times a week at a convenient IOP location for continued support and education on relapse prevention, family dynamics, problem-solving and more.

Personal Addiction Monitoring — 12 months

After completion of the initial residential treatment, the client will enter into a 12-month period of personal monitoring with a sober coach who will provide additional support. The relationship between the client and the coach serves as an accountability partnership. The two will meet weekly to discuss progress, struggles, and solutions that will help the client achieve his or her personal goals.
