Adolescents are abusing these “safe” physician prescribed drugs more than heroin, methamphetamines, and cocaine. The White House Office of Nation Drug Control Policy has said that: Every day, 2,500 kids aged 12-17 abuse a prescription painkiller for the first time and more people are getting addicted to prescription drug abuse.
