John began working in the field of recovery in 2010 after finding sobriety. His original intention was to use this opportunity to help others while waiting for other career opportunities. What he found was a true passion for helping other alcoholics and addicts recover from the deadly disease of alcoholism and addiction. John is a firm believer in the use of spiritual principles and the 12 steps as a guide to a new way of life.
John has had experience as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist, working as a Recovery Coach with addicts and alcoholics who successfully discharged from treatment. This experience, along with his own experience in recovery gives him the unique ability to prepare Clients in residential/inpatient treatment with the tools and preparation to transition successfully back into the world. John has spent the last three years working specifically in residential treatment as a Recovery Specialist carrying a message of recovery and providing the fundamental tools which allow Clients to create a strong foundation in the 12 steps of recovery.
