Who We Are
The purpose of Nova Recovery Center is to remove personal barriers through the blending of recovery and clinical methods, giving each individual the opportunity to be successful in recovery. The Nova Recovery Center residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation program is designed to close the recovery circle and increase overall sober success rates with individualized continuum of care plans.
What We Do
As we continually strive to fulfill our purpose and change lives, we do so by maintaining the following few things in every aspect of addiction treatment.
Treating Addiction at its Core
At Nova, we believe addiction treatment should treat more than just your symptoms. Addiction is a deeply rooted disease—one that is almost always a result of a much larger problem. The emotions, history, and attitudes behind your behaviors need to be resolved so both your mind and body can heal.
Our treatment program is comprised of a variety of methodologies that create a solid foundation on which to build your recovery. Our process is also completely fluid, which allows us to individualize each program in a way that focuses on your growth, meets your needs, and leads you to long-lasting recovery.
Serving the Community
Our staff is passionate about helping people but we are not limited to the walls of our facility. Nova is proud to support local causes we believe will better our community. Among other organizations, we’ve supported the Burning Tree Foundation, Texas Lutheran University, and local volunteer networks.
We also believe in the importance of exhibiting our own health and positive attitudes through kindness and understanding. Nova team members strive to be role models that clients can look up to, both in and outside of work.
Working as a Team
Our multidisciplinary treatment teams are made up of highly experienced professionals who specialize in treating substance abuse and mental health disorders. We work together with each other, with clients, and with families to help people overcome their emotional roadblocks so they can live healthier, happier lives. Because we truly care about our clients and will do what it takes to lead them to their recovery goals, we offer affordable and customizable rehabilitation programs that can be maintained on a long-term basis.
Rewarding Careers
Just as we are passionate about leading our clients in living happy, healthy lives, we also value the happiness of our employees. Nova Recovery Center offers rewarding, life-changing careers that allow our staff members to be a part of something much bigger than themselves.
We are always looking to expand our tight-knit team of professionals. If you are a positive, passionate person who truly wants to make a difference in the lives of those suffering from addiction, we would love to hear from you.
Nova Mission Statement
Nova is an organization that provides comprehensive treatment services to individuals seeking a life of recovery. Our rehabilitation staff members are all in recovery themselves and have years of experience helping people recover from drug and alcohol abuse. Our mission is to create a new way of living where individuals recovering from alcoholism or drug addiction can learn and grow to accomplish a life of long-term sobriety. The organization is not run with the purpose of greed. Operations do not continue in order to produce profits and income for stakeholders and Nova. Our decisions are made to give every alcoholic and drug addict the opportunity for a long-term life of recovery which was so freely given to us.
These decisions and progressions are accomplished by adhering to our spiritual convictions and asking a power greater than ourselves for the direction to carry it out. Our core values are honesty, integrity, giving, helping, succeeding and enjoying.

90-Day Residential Alcohol and Drug Rehab
Our 90-day residential drug and alcohol rehab in Austin center provides a safe, comfortable, and supportive space for you to heal, learn, and recover. Unlike other 30 or 60-day programs, our long-term rehab program gives you more time to adjust to a new way of living, more time to practice the mental and spiritual tools you will use outside of rehab, and more time to acclimate into a recovery community. This 90-day time span promotes genuine and lasting change for sobriety that lasts long after inpatient rehab ends.
Drug and Alcohol Detox
Our medical detox programs treat all kinds of addictions and are tailored to meet your individual needs. We use a comprehensive assessment to design a personalized detox program that will ensure your comfort and safety throughout the withdrawal process. You’ll also have the opportunity to begin individual and group therapy to address any emotional issues and prepare for the transition into a rehab program. We believe this process provides the best foundation for continued sobriety.
Aftercare Program and IOP
Our Intensive Outpatient and Aftercare programs are designed to assist those who have graduated from our inpatient residential facility. Group sessions are available in Austin and Houston and provide structured addiction treatment sessions and recovery counseling in a safe, clinical setting. The first year of recovery can be difficult, but these support groups provide consistency, accountability, and peer support at a time when it’s needed most.
Sober Living Apartments
The transition from a residential rehab center into independent sober life is littered with obstacles. For this reason, we provide sober living homes and support programming for clients who need continued support as they make the transition. With regular drug and alcohol screenings, one-on-one sobriety coaching, and a safe, comfortable place to practice relapse prevention strategies, our sober living program is key to achieving an independent, substance-free life.
